Finding Honors Theses

Use the search bar abobe, or search in CardinalSearch for the term “thesis hon” in the “Oesterle Library Books and More” facet.

Add additional keywords to your search statement to find theses on particular topics. For example, search for "thesis hon AND gender" to find honors theses that are related to that term.

Accessing Honors Theses

There are 2 formats that theses are in: physical copies held in the library general collection, and digital copies online. In order to allow access to digital copies, the author of the thesis must have signed a distribution license. Not all thesis writers choose to sign a distribution license, therefore not all theses are available as digital copies. 

• Physical copies of many of the theses published prior to 2012 are within the library’s collections on the lower level of Oesterle. They are organized alphabetically by the student author and have the titles printed on the spine. They are out on the shelves where students can peruse them and if they need help locating them, they can ask at the desk for assistance.
• The digital copies can be found in the Box folder linked above.
