Civic Engagement Week

October 10-14

Join us for a weeklong examination of the many ways that individuals can influence our political systems, and how those systems affect our lives in return. All free events held in Oesterle Library

For every event you attend, receive a raffle entry for prizes to be drawn at the end of the week!


Monday 10/10

  • Last Call! for Voter Registration - - 9am - 12pm
  • Indigenous People's Day - - 11:30am - 1:30pm
    • Learn about the original inhabitants of North America in the modern and historical setting. Enter a raffle for books by Indigenous authors
    • Co-hosted with the Office of Multicultural Affairs


Tuesday 10/11

  • Midterms Matter: Why You Should Vote on November 8th - - 12pm
    • Presented by Dr. Suzanne Chod, Professor of Political Science
  • Race, Election Security, and Voter Suppression - - 4pm
