How to locate books in the library using call numbers

Oesterle Library uses the Dewey Decimal System to classify its books. See the chart below to match subjects and Dewey Decimal numbers to the locations of books in the library building. For more information on the Dewey Decimal System, see OCLC's Dewey Decimal System Summaries

Note: All books with call numbers beginning with "R" are located in the Reference Room. All books with call numbers beginning with "j" or "C" are located in Giere Audiovisual Center.
