Complete data projection systems are available in most classrooms on campus. These systems are permanently mounted in the classroom, and allow the user to display computer data and videos on a large screen without the need to set up equipment.

The Sanyo XP18 data projector is a 2000 lumen projector capable of projecting the campus standard 1024 x 763 resolution.

2. Turn on the data projector by pressing the on/off button on the remote control.
Point the remote at the projector or screen.

3. If necessary, press the Mode button once or twice to cycle through the input sources until you reach the computer input. You will then see the computer image on the screen.

The data projector is set to fit the screen and is focused, no further adjustment should be necessary.

Projecting Video

A. The sanyo data projector may also be used to project video from the classroom DVD/VCR.

B. Turn on the VCR, insert a videotape, and press play.

C. Press the Mode button to choose the video input.
You may need to press the button two or three times to cycle through the different input sources.sanyo remote

D. The data projector volume may be adjusted by pressing the + and - buttons on the remote (see photo above).
If the classroom is equipped with an external speaker, volume controls are located on the speaker.

Shut down procedures

a. Exit all computer programs and follow the normal Windows shut down process.

b. Using the data projector remote control, press the off button.

The data projector fan will operate until the lamp cools.

Please make sure the projector lamp is off before leaving the classroom.
