Harris W. Fawell Congressional Papers
North Central College is the official repository for the Congressional Papers of Harris W. Fawell. Elected in 1984, Mr. Fawell served 14 years in the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois' 13th District, before retiring at the conclusion of the 105th Congress.
The papers erflect the operation of Fawell's two Congressional Offices as well as his service on the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology; the Committee on Education and Labor; and the Select Committee on Again. The collection includes materials created and used by Mr. Fawell and his staff.
These papers are open to researchers, although some series require written permission prior to access.
