The “Redbooks” are statistical reports published by the College beginning in 1986.Description:
The “Redbooks” are statistical reports for North Central College from 1920 through 1993. Each report contains five parts: Enrollment and Financial Aid, Academic, Salaries and Cost, Fiscal and Other, and Giving. The “Enrollment and Financial Aid” section includes enrollment, retention, registration, student demographics, and financial aid statistics. Most of these statistics are provided by the Registrar’s Office. The “Academic” section includes statistics of graduating majors, graduates with teaching certificates, grade distribution for traditional and nontraditional students, transfer student demographics, and faculty research. The “Salaries and Cost” section contains salaries and compensation for faculty, library expenditures, Business Office expenses, and other student services expenses. Most of the statistics for expenses are provided by the Business Office. In the “Fiscal and Other” section, current cost of living, income and expenses, student fees, and debt statistics are included. The final section on “Giving” lists statistics for total giving receipts, the annual fund, alumni giving, and church support.
