Administrative History:
Financial Reports were compiled for the North Central College Board of Trustees by the College Treasurer in 1914 and 1916 while later reports were prepared by auditing firms. A financial audit continues to be performed annually by an outside firm.

Description:
This series contains financial reports for North Central College and, in 1916, the Evangelical Theological Seminary. Early reports list basic breakdowns of improvement expenses, unclassified income and expenses, maintenance expenses, investments, and total indebtedness. The 1916 report also includes financial summaries of the Evangelical Theological Seminary. Reports from 1971, 1972, 1989, and 1990 are more extensive, listing assets, liabilities, fund balances, income, expenditures, investments, indebtedness, annuity fund, scholarship funds, and insurance coverage for North Central College. The 1990 report includes the financial summary of the College as well as a report of the Closing Meeting for Audit of June 30, 1990, created on September 20, 1990. This report includes an agenda of the meeting, communication required, an engagement letter from the auditor, and a list of the audit team.

Processing Note:
The base collection of the College Archives had no inherent order. The Archives created this series out of the base collection in 1999.
