Administrative History:
North Central College alumni relations began in 1869 with the organization of the Alumni Association. The College created a full-time Director of Alumni Relations position within the Development Office in 1961. There is now an Office of Alumni Relations within the Office of Institutional Advancement.

Description:
This series contains materials received by the Office of Alumni Relations and the College Archives relating to individual alumni. These files include personal remembrances, autobiographical or biographical information by or about individual alums, and research papers completed by alums. The dates on the folders reflect the dates the enclosed documents were created, which does not necessarily match the subject of the documents.

Processing Note:
The base collection of the College Archives had no inherent order. The Archives created this series out of the base collection in 1999. Presumably many of these files were sent to College Archives from the Office of Alumni Relations, although they predate any accession paperwork.
